This nightlatch is backed by the police initiative 'Secured by Design' and features BS8621 auto deadlocking. The emergency escape function allows for easy-exit in the event of a fire.
This lock fulfils the requirements of most home insurance policies that require a high-security locking solution on your homes entrance and exit doors.
As well as conforming to the much sort after British Standard, the BS3 nightlatch also come as standard with a TS007 1* 6 pin rim cylinder (which is anti-drill, anti-pick and anti-bump) and fully complies to BS EN-1303(2005)
An extended and hardened 20mm latch ensure the lock is highly resistant against sawing and the deadlocking function makes card slipping attacks completely ineffective.
The luxury of a built-in snib to hold back the latch means you can pop in and out collecting the shopping without the door closing behind you. The latch automatically locks on closing the door while still retaining the possibility of free escape.
These nightlatches are supplied with two keys as standard.
